Euroslot series B150 offers functionality and high-quality appearance for a wide range of applications. An outstanding feature of the EUROSLOT B150 Series is the mere 1.52 mm thickness of the profile wires that combine an elegant appearance with a maximum sense of space, making these products ideal for achieving striking aesthetic highlights in indoor and outdoor use. This characteristic makes them particularly suitable for ventilation applications and other uses here the material is not highly stressed, for example as a visual highlight in exterior facades or a solar protection solution for indoor or outdoor applications.
High-quality stainless steel
In the German-speaking region there are two generic VA steel designations for stainless (non-rusting) steel. The two most common are V2A and V4A.
Material No. 1.4301, AISI 304 or X5CrNi18/10)
A stainless steel used frequently for everyday applications, e.g. for metal structures, vehicles and sinks, and that is also used in the foodstuff, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
NOTE: V2A material should not be used in coastal regions (due to salt content in the air and sand drift), in conurbations (acid rain due to smog) or in swimming pools (high chlorine content in environment). Only V4A materials are suitable for use in these conditions.
V4A stainless steel
Material No. 1.4404, AISI 316L or X2CrNiMo17-12-2)
Is similar to V2A stainless steel but with 2% molybdenum added. This makes the steel more resistant to corrosion in chloride-containing media. V4A stainless steel is used in salt water, swimming pools and the chemical industry.
Duplex stainless steel
Duplex stainless steel has a two-phase microstructure consisting of grains of ferritic and austenitic stainless steel. Therefore duplex stainless steel is twice as strong as regular austenitic or ferritic stainless steels and the toughness and ductility is significantly better than that of ferritic steel.
The high corrosion resistance makes duplex stainless steel the perfect choice for tough environments like sea sides.
Wire details and open area
Technical details and measurements of the wedge wires used:
Width in mm: 1.5 mm
Height in mm: 6.03 mm
Width in mm: 2 mm
Height in mm: 10 mm
The open area depends on the slot width of the series B150 and ranges from 66.4% to 80% open area.
This product is not suitable as floor covering when heavy load can be expected.
